Cathy is the founding Director of The Glass House salon since she ran the hair salon at the Runnymede Hotel, leaving there to open The Glass House almost 20 yrs ago.
A L’Oreal colourist specialist as well as an expert in Great lengths hair extensions, Cathy also worked on wedding hair in Australia, Spain and Italy, as well as across the UK. Testament to her and the members of the team at the Salon, its creations have appeared in British Vogue, Hello and numerous other celeb magazines over the years.
Cathy loves being part of the Virginia Water community and always extends a warm welcome to each and every client, existing as well as new. So why not take the opportunity to pamper yourself and drop in to the salon one day soon. You’ll not regret it!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
In order to secure your ideal appointment time, please be sure to book your appointment 2-4 weeks in advance. Dates can be changed up to 48 hours if needed.
Evenings and Weekend appointments are our most popular times and we advice to book at least two appointments in advance to secure your preferred slot.

- In consideration for other clients, we request that all phones, iPads and other electronic devices be kept silent.
- We respectfully ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment to avoid changes/ shortening of your service.
HOW DO YOU PRICE YOUR SERVICES?
We have a structured price system where you pay for the level of Stylist that you see. A Stylist’s level is determined by their experience, skill and popularity.
We understand that our guests have unique challenges and aspirations and we believe our personalised approach is a fair, simple and transparent way of pricing our services.
It also empowers our stylists to be creative by removing the restrictions set by the conventional ‘one size fits all’ approach.
DO YOU OFFER A FRINGE SHAPE/ TRIM SERVICE?
Existing clients are able to take advantage of our complimentary fringe shape service. No need to book an appointment, just pop in the salon Monday – Friday (subject to availability).
This service included the reshaping of an existing fringe. Unfortunately we are unable to create/cut-in a new fringe unless you are having a Cut & Style Service.
Walk-in Fringe Trim service for non-existing clients are charged at £10.
WHAT HAPPEN'S IF I'M LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
We ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment.
Should you arrive late, we will do our best to keep your arranged appointments, however we may have to shorten or change the appointment to ensure the stylists other clients for the day aren’t affected.
